Bobby Camp Obituary

Bobby Glenn Camp, age 80, passed away peacefully at his home in Trinity, Texas, April 26th, 2025. Born in Houston on January 12th, 1945, Bobby lived a life full of love, service, and dedication.

He proudly served his country for nearly 20 years in the U.S. Army, including time in Vietnam. After his service, he continued to work with his hands and his heart as an auto mechanic for Ford.

Bobby had a love for the open road and could often be found riding his motorcycle or spending time on the beach with his beloved wife, Katt Camp, and beloved dog, Stubby. He brought joy to many through his volunteer work, especially dressing up as Santa Claus and supporting his local community in countless ways. He also loved sharing his magic tricks with friends.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Camp; daughters, Heather Camp Henderson and Melissa Barr; stepchildren, Jason Wells, Naaman Wells, and Lacie Claunch; 21 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother; all siblings; and stepdaughter Kimberlee Claunch.

A memorial celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at his residence, 1916 Winding Creek Rd, Trinity, TX, on Saturday, May 10th.
