Charley was my great uncle. His sister Gladys was my grandmother. Uncle Charley was always so kind and so much fun. Visiting Marshall as a kid was always so boring for me, but on the occasions we saw Charley it was never dull. I can remember him showing me how to pick poke in the pasture. He was probably just trying to keep me occupied. Lol. I'm sorry I missed his service. Sharon Dian McCormick

Our Deepest Sympathy to the family and Jim & LeRoy. Charles will be deeply missed by me. Loved all the visits he made to Iowa, which were deeply enjoying. Most of all he had the best southern draw in his voice, loved it!
