Edwin (Eddie) Young Obituary

Eddie was my right hand man at the parks in Shelley. I was the parks and recreation director and Eddie loved to help me, ride the 4 wheeler, and watch the kids. When we played basketball, he was there also. He lived to be surrounded by all ages of people. He would always say, he had to have his gloves on to give you a hug. We moved just across the street and he was with us all day helping us move. He would walk from his place he was staying at to my house to make sure I was home and everything was okay. He kept track of the high school boys playing sports and loved to go to there games and cheer them on. He loved participating in special Olympics , especially riding the horses. He made many friends in Shelley and we will miss him.

Eddie was always happy to see family and friends. We were the same age, and I remember his sweet smile and love for life. See you in the next life, cuz.

I’m so sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing. I loved him like a brother. His joy and humor made me laugh every day while I lived at Carriage Cove. He is a stellar man and will be so missed by many.
