Paulette Menot Obituary

Paulette Menot, 81, passed away peacefully at her New Durham home on April 26th 2025.
She was born March 31, 1944 in Brooklyn NY to parents Francis and Alexander Shurkin.
Paulette attended Sanford H Calhoun High School in Merrick, NY. After graduating in 1961, Paulette
met her husband Robert Menot. The two settled in North Easton, MA where she became an active
member of the community. Paulette enjoyed many years as a Girl Scout leader. While also participating
in the town militia, often taking part in numerous battle reenactments. The couple later retired to New
Durham, NH. Paulette, a dedicated follower of Christ, spent many hours studying her bible and
attending the Free Will Baptist Church of New Durham. She also enjoyed hobbies including gardening,
bingo, sharing puzzles at the Senior Center, and knitting projects. She will be remembered by her
husband of 63 years, Robert Menot. Their three children Robert (Rob) Menot, Yvette Menot, and
Annette Menot. Grandchildren Robert (Robbie) Menot, Jacob Horton, Sarah Horton, Rebecca Horton,
and Alexander Danger (Horton), great grandchildren Samuel Menot and Andre DelDotto, sister Carol
Bowker, and countless close friends. She will be joining her parents Francis and Alexander, sister
Alicia Shurkin, and loving granddaughter Mishayla Lynn Menot in the Kingdom of Heaven.
A private ceremony will be held for family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to
a local charitable foundation.
