Jean Boyce Obituary
GREENVILLE - Jean Sherrod Boyce, 65, daughter of the late Lester and Marilyn Fleming Harton, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, from 5 to 7 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Jean spent her early life in Morganton, North Carolina and was a graduate of East Carolina University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Education. Jean taught adult education at Pitt Community College and later she taught at C. M. Eppes Middle School, and also at Western Piedmont Community College in Morganton.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Brian Boyce of Valdese, North Carolina; daughter, Melissa Walker and husband, Danny of Greenville; a brother, Patrick Harton and wife, Kelly of Drexel, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Summer Bullock Autumn Bullock, and Adolphus Reel.

I had the fortune of knowing Jean for only a few years or so. I had not seen her in about two years when she was ill and I am so very sorry that she has left this world but know she is out of pain and in peace. It is a very hard and sorrowful time in my cousin's BeeBop/Brian's life & I know he will miss her dearly...every day. Anyone out there that can be supportive to him right now and the lonely days to follow, please reach out to him as I am too far away to give him a hug and let him know that I care and love him.
