Aarick Wilson Obituary

A Life Remembered Aarick Wilson, beloved father, devoted friend, and brilliant soul, passed away tragically on the morning of May 26, 2025, just shy of his 39th birthday. Born on June 29, 1986, Aarick lived with unmatched energy, humor, and heart. Known to many as "Boo" or "Boo Bear," he was the kind of person who made people laugh in even the darkest moments and who would offer help to a stranger without a second thought. Goofy and generous, fiercely loyal and endlessly curious, Aarick had a presence that lit up every room he entered. Aarick was a gifted tradesman who ran several successful roofing and contracting businesses, but he was most proud of his legacy as an honored wrestler. A regional champion and state runner-up in high school, he went on to wrestle at the collegiate level for Adams State University in Colorado. Wrestling wasn't just a sport to him-it was a part of who he was. Nothing, however, meant more to Aarick than being a father. He is survived by his four children-Tatem (15), Brooklynn (12), Carter (9), and River (4)-whom he loved more than anything in the world. He showed his love not just through words, but through actions, laughter, protection, and presence. Aarick is also survived by his siblings: Aaron, Amanda, Katy, Ed, Lenny to name a few; and many dear friends who stood beside him through every chapter of life. His legacy is one of laughter, loyalty, and love. He leaves behind a world made better by his presence-and hearts that will never stop missing him.
