Alicia Archuleta Obituary

Alicia Archuleta, age 71, of Greeley, CO, passed away on May 29th,2025 at UC Health Hospital. She was born on April 5th,1954 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Camilo Lopez and Marta Garcia.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and beloved family member. Alicia was a loving and resilient woman who never knew how to give up and fought until the very end.
Alicia was the proud mother of two children and grandmother to seven granddaughters. She was the heart of her family and cherished every moment spent with her granddaughters: Navaeh Archuleta, Jocelyn Zamora, Nakayla Jaquez, Jacquelin Zamora, Camilah Archuleta, Samantha Archuleta, and Jazleen Zamora. Alicia found immense joy in crocheting, shopping, listening to music, and watching TV. Above all, she loved the time spent with her granddaughters, always making sure to spoil them with her care and affection.
Known for her stubbornness in the most loving way, Alicia's strength and determination were unmatched. She had a deep love for good food, particularly tamales, menudo, carnitas, hongos con crema, and enjoyed her coffee with a generous amount of sugar. Alicia had a sweet tooth and often indulged in her favorite candies.
She is survived by her daughter Delfina Zamora and son-in-law Erik, both of Greeley. Alicia is also survived by her granddaughters and many other cherished family members. She was preceded in death by her son Luis Alberto Archuleta, her mother Marta Garcia, and husband Manuel Archuleta.
A Celebration of Life for Alicia will be held on Tuesday, June 10th, from 5-7pm at Adamson Life Celebration Home in Greeley, Colorado. A Funeral Mass will take place the following day, Wednesday, June 11th, at 11:00am at Our Lady of Peace in Greeley. Following the Mass, a Graveside Service will be held at Linn Grove Cemetery in Greeley, with a reception to follow at Kimberly's Event Center in Greeley.
