It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrea Rose Hinrichs, a beloved hairdresser, devoted mother, and cherished friend. Andrea was born on December 19, 1968, in Denver, Colorado, and her beautiful spirit left this world on June 15, 2025, in Lakewood, Colorado, surrounded by her loved ones.
For over30 years, Andrea poured her heart into her career as a hairdresser in Lakewood, where she built lasting relationships with her many loyal clients. She was known not only for her skilled hands but also for her kind and playful personality. Andrea possessed a caretaker's heart, always ensuring that those around her felt valued and loved. She was the glue that held many together, serving as a beacon of support and strength for friends and family alike.
Andrea found immense joy in spending time with her family. She had a special bond with her daughter, Megan, whom she supported wholeheartedly. Andrea often attended doctor's appointments with her, eager to be involved and present in every moment. Their outings often included shopping sprees and delightful lunches together, marking cherished memories of love and laughter. The joy of family extended to Andrea's anticipation of welcoming her grandson, Patrick, a wonderful new chapter that she looked forward to embracing.
In her spare time, Andrea enjoyed a variety of hobbies: she lovingly tended to her garden, often spending hours cultivating beauty even at Megan’s home. Camping trips with family brought her much happiness, and her fondness for cooking led her to explore new recipes, always eager to share delicious meals with those she cared for. Her love for her Great Danes was also a testament to her nurturing nature; they were her companions, bringing her joy and comfort.
Andrea is survived by her loving husband, Craig; her devoted daughter, Megan (and her partner Isaiah); her excitedly awaited grandson, Patrick; her father, Hans; and her siblings, Holly and Hans Jr. She joins her late mother, Janice Gebhard, in eternal peace.
As we celebrate Andrea Rose Hinrichs' life, we remember her kind heart, her silly laughter, and her unwavering strength. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, and her legacy of love and compassion will forever resonate in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on June 24, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00 P.M. A graveside service will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. In this time of remembrance, we encourage all who knew Andrea to share their stories and celebrate the light she brought into our lives.
