Angelo "Angie" Bergamo, 94, of Lakewood passed away on March 10th. Born in Dawson, New Mexico, he moved to Denver at a young age where he met his wife of 72 years, Mary. He served our country in the Korean War, Corporal US Army HQ Btry 37th FA BN, thankfully making it home to help raise three daughters.
His passing was a sorrowful loss for his family and friends, and his memory will live on through the wisdom and music he marked on the world. Angelo's thoughtfulness, and kind heart, were unmatched - truly raising a village with love.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 13, 2026 at 12:00pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. in Lakewood. A 2:00pm burial will follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, where he will receive military honors.
