Barbara Hirtle Obituary
Barbara M. Hirtle of Milliken Colorado passed away peacefully on April 17,2026 at the age of 92. Barbara was born December 8,1933 to James and Helen McGlynn in
Chelsea Massachusetts.
Barbara attended Clarke School for the Deaf. After graduating in 1951 she went onto Bryan Stratton School of Business and graduated in 1953. She retired from Lauriat's Bookstores in 1996.
Barbara will be remembered for her devotion to her faith and her kindness to animals. She enjoyed gardening and Ballroom Dancing. Barbara was a natural born dancer.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband George Hirtle of Plymouth Massachusetts where they spent many days enjoying the Plymouth waterfront. She spent her last days in Colorado with her loving family.
Barbara is survived by her son Richard J. King of Pembroke NH, her daughter Judith (King) Macdonald of Milliken CO, 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Accent care and Adamson Life Celebration Home for their support and care during this difficult time.
