Bertha Esperanza Tallent, 92, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her brother Joe of California.
Born in 1933 in Piñas, Ecuador, to Segundo and Felicia Loayza, Bertha’s journey was one marked by love, faith, and family. In 1956, she courageously migrated to the United States, where she met the love of her life, Ralph Tallent. The two were married for 65 years, building a home together filled with warmth, tradition, and enduring devotion.
Bertha was a proud and loving mother to four sons—Mike, Brian, Randy, and David. She raised her children with strong values rooted in religion and a healthy lifestyle, leading by example in both faith and dedication. A constant presence in their lives, Bertha never missed a little league game, cheering faithfully from the stands with joy and pride.
Her legacy lives on through her nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply. Known for her vibrant spirit, Bertha found joy in playing the piano and sharing afternoons of bridge with her dear friends.
