Betty Marie Wells, age 94, died in her home in Arvada, Colorado on October 4, 2024. She was a graduate of Yuma high school. She went on to become a real estate broker and opened her own business, Apple Ridge Realtors.
Betty moved to Denver, Colorado at the age of 18 when she met and married Gillem Wells. Betty loved to dance, travel, and play golf.
She is survived by her sister, Beverly Kinard, and two daughters, Linda Paskey and Debra Salankey. Betty also has two deceased sons, David and Steven Wells. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Betty was greatly loved and will be missed by many.
Visiting hours will be observed from 10am-11am Thursday, October 17 at Horan & McConaty, Arvada.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00am Thursday, October 17 at Horan & McConaty, Arvada with a reception following.
Graveside Service will be at 2:00pm Thursday, October 17 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver.
