Bonnie Vecchiarelli Obituary

Bonnie Bernice Vecchiarelli passed away at age 85 on February 15, 2026 surrounded by family.

Born on October 29, 1940 to Glen and Dolly Barclay in Wheatridge, Colorado, Bonnie B, as her dad always called her, grew up in Wheatridge with her parents and younger brother, Tom. She would go on to marry her high school sweetheart, Jim Ryall, at age 19. They built a beautiful life together, raising children, and supporting one another through life’s ups and downs. Bonnie cherished creating a beautiful home for her family. She and Jim poured their hearts into the church together, supporting ministries and giving back to their community. They were “two peas in a pod” through life, taking care of each other in beautifully, God designed ways. They had 31 wonderful years together filled with immense love for one another before Jim’s passing in 1991. Nine years later, God brought Bonnie and John Vecchiarelli together, and they were married soon after. They had a life filled with family, adventure and a deep love for one another and for God. Forever referred to as “the newlyweds”, their life was full, always treasuring their family and their close friendships, along with all the Italian food and pizzelle cookie making. They were fiercely commitment to the church and built a life around that. Bonnie and John cherished each other and each other’s families, loving with a divinely, God given love.

Bonnie lived her life with a fierce love and devotion to Jesus, keeping Him at the center of all she did, always leading with love and conviction. She continuously put other’s first, loving her husbands with deep devotion and unconditional love. It was her greatest honor to be called wife, and she moved through that title with immense grace and beauty. Bonnie raised two children whom she loved deeply, supporting their dreams, their choices and being a constant as the years past. Later she became Nana to multiple grandchildren, whose lives she poured into, showing up for the big and the small moments, always there to listen and to love without end. Bonnie always shared her wisdom, her prayers, her heart, her love with everyone around her. She was kind, compassionate, and cared for others, always seeing the world through Jesus’ eyes.

Her greatest gift she gave to those around her was her spirit, her spirit of hope, of faith, and of belief in goodness. She loved those around her with her whole heart. And those who knew her were better for it.

To her family she will always be our Bonnie B, our Bon, our sweet Mom, our beloved Nana, and our Bon Bon. We know that she is now reunited in Heaven with the people she so deeply loved, Jim, John, her mother Dolly, her daddy Glenn, and her daughter Denise.

We will carry you with us in our hearts forever.
