Charles Frederick Nichols passed peacefully on June 5, 2023, surrounded by his family. Charles was born in Trinidad, Colorado on June 2, 1944. He graduated from Trinidad High School in 1962, and then attended Trinidad Junior College and the University of Colorado Boulder. Charles is survived by 7 children, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sister Penny (Elizabeth) and longtime love, Sally Ortiz.
A celebration of life event for Charles will be held at the First Unitarian Church located at 1400 Lafayette Street, Denver, on June 29, 2023 at 11:00am. A memorial service will be followed by a reception and lunch.
