Chau Ngo Obituary

Chau D. Ngo, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully in Denver, Colorado, on July 30, 2025, he fought a courageous battle with illness that spanned almost three years. Born on January 1, 1973, in Phan Thiet, Vietnam, Chau's journey through life was characterized by his unwavering kindness and optimism. His gentle spirit touched the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

For 17 years, Chau dedicated himself to serving as an electronic technician at the post office in Denver. Colleagues remember him fondly for his helpful demeanor and strong work ethic, qualities that made a lasting impact on those he worked alongside. He approached every task with devotion and pride, earning the respect and admiration of his peers.

Beyond his professional life, Chau was a multifaceted individual with a wide array of interests. He found joy in fishing and model car racing, pursuits that allowed him to connect with nature and engage in friendly competition. With a keen eye for style, he took great care of his wardrobe and personal belongings, always sporting a well-kept hairdo that reflected his attention to detail. Chau's love for life extended beyond his hobbies; he delighted in the simple pleasures such as buying new shoes or sweaters that brought him happiness.

Chau's life journey was marked by significant accomplishments, including the bravery he showed as a young child when he escaped Vietnam with his family. This determination paid off, as he later achieved the American dream by purchasing his own home and two vehicles, a testament to his hard work and resilience.

He leaves behind his loving brothers: Chi and Le, and his devoted sisters: Mau, Lan, Duong, Chuc, Diep, and Minh. In addition, he cherished the company of numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews whose lives were brighter for having him in them. Though his parents, Trong and Tan, and brother, Vinh, have passed on, their spirits will forever remain alive in the memories they shared.

Chau was a kind man, a soft-spoken soul who always saw the good in others. He never had a mean word to say about anyone and faced life with unyielding optimism. His family and friends will fondly remember his warm smile and compassionate heart, traits that truly defined him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation services on August 6 and 7, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro in Denver. A Rosary will be held on August 8, followed by a Mass and burial at Queen of Vietnamese Martyrs and Mount Olivet Cemetery respectively on August 9.

Chau D. Ngo's memory will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him, and his spirit will continue to inspire as a beacon of kindness and resilience. His journey may have ended, but his legacy of love and caring will forever endure.
