Chris Roberts died Sunday morning, October 9th, 2022.
She was born March 15, 1951 in New Haven, Connecticut to Joseph H. Roberts and Barbara Reed Roberts. She grew up in Milford, Connecticut and after attending Green Mountain College in Vermont she joined the hippy generation and took off to see the country. She first went to Hawaii, then on to California, New Mexico, Maine, Connecticut, Oregon and has spent her last 15 years in Denver at Windsor Gardens.
Chris took the name of Chrys Seanna during her travels. She was a devoted Pisces, most often wearing her favorite color - aqua. She enjoyed hiking and camping. She loved watching tennis and basketball and attended the movies every chance she had. She liked to read and listen to music at home and at concerts. She was active in the Democratic Club at Windsor Gardens.
Chris is survived by her sisters, Marty Roberts and Linda Roberts Zinn (both of Denver) and her brother, Reed Roberts. She is also survived by her nieces, Sophie Kernan and Corine Roberts Niemann; nephew, John Joseph Niemann (Samantha); her grand-nieces, Anna and Magdalena and her grand-nephews, Jake and Elias.
Her family thanks all of those at Denver Hospice, Rose Hospital, Rosemark and Wendy's Team who gave Chris such kind and compassionate care as well as her friends and neighbors at Windsor Gardens who so generously looked after her.
A gathering to honor Chris will be held at Windsor Gardens at a future date. Any memorial contributions made in Chris' name to the Denver Dumb Friends League would be appreciated.
