Cordelia "Cordie" Kagohara
October 2, 1928
October 30, 2022
Born in the San Luis Valley to a farming family, Cordie graduated from high school and moved to Denver. She was in a beauty contest at the JACL where she met her future husband Will Kagohara from Greeley. They married in 1953. She worked for most of her career at Denver Public School as a baker. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Cordie survived siblings Francesca Joelson, Mary Serna, Henry Sato, Leroy Sato, Betty Wusso; Kenji Sato survives her. Cordie was married to Will 65 years, surviving him. She is survived by daughter Wendy Weil (Steve), grandson Colter, nephews & nieces.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 10:30am Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Horan & McConaty, 1091 S Colorado Blvd, Denver.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00am Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Horan & McConaty, 1091 S Colorado Blvd, Denver.
Entombment will follow service in Olinger Hampden Memorial Gardens, Denver.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Denver Hospice, The Denver Botanic Gardens or Christ the King Catholic Church,
