David Villano Obituary

David Louis Villano, 75, of Denver, passed away peacefully on January 14th, 2026. A memorial service will be held at Radiance Church, 8301 Rosemary St., Commerce City, on Wednesday, January 28 at 11:00 AM, with a viewing from 10:00–11:00 AM.

Born November 19, 1950, David graduated from South Denver High School (Class of 1968) and later attended Arapahoe Community College. He spent his career as a proud union carpenter, working on projects throughout Denver and contributing his craftsmanship to Lockheed Martin.

David was the son of Louis H. Villano and Doris A. Calder, both deceased.

He is survived by his son, Dylan L. Villano of Denver, and his siblings Victoria A. Smaldone of Littleton, Michele L. Villano of Denver, and Robert M. Villano of Gault, California.

Beyond his work, David found joy in the simple parts of Colorado life. He loved heading into the mountains, whether for a quiet drive or a day spent fishing. He enjoyed skiing in Colorado mountains. He loved camping, especially at Deep Lake. He enjoyed bird hunting, appreciated the peace of the outdoors, and rarely missed a chance to watch Broncos football. Those who knew him remember a man who valued family, hard work, and the beauty of being outside.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
