Emma Aragon Obituary

Emma Mabel Aragon, age 91, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, in Fort Lupton, Colorado.

Emma was born on June 23, 1934, in Ocate, New Mexico, to Angelina Martinez and Abedon Martinez. She was raised with strong values of family, compassion, and generosity-qualities that would define her throughout her life.

Emma devoted her life to being a homemaker, creating a warm and loving home for her family. She was known for her extremely kind heart and giving nature, always putting others before herself and offering comfort, care, and support to those around her.

She shared a loving marriage with her husband, Benjamin Aragon Sr., who preceded her in death. Together, they built a life centered on family, love, and dedication.

Emma is survived by her son, Ben Aragon Jr. (Josie); her daughter, Gloria Fernandez (George); her grandchildren, Felicia Escatel (Frank), Corleon Aragon, and Angelina Huchert; and her great-grandchildren, Layanna, Oliver, Penelope, and David.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; her son, David; her sisters, Zelea and Olona; and her brothers, Abedon Martinez Jr. and Bobby Martinez.

Emma will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her selfless love, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished so deeply.
