Gary Garcia passed away on July 24th, 2025, in Thornton Colorado. He passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Born March 7th, 1951, to Carolyn Gomez and Juan Garcia, the middle child of their five children.
Gary was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, Pa, partner and friend. Gary spent his life helping others through his work with juvenile counseling and with Denver Social Service. He was a gentle giant who could bring a smile to anyone's face with a simple conversation.
Gary is preceded in death by his father Juan Garcia and son Carlos Garcia. He is remembered fondly by his mother Carolyn Garcia, his children Regina (Tyrone) Isaac and Matt, his grandchildren Arianna Trinna Jalia Jedidyah Leila Giovanni and Sebastian, his Partner Joyce May, and his sisters Ramona (Rod) Vigil, Annette Bak, Gisele Kimrey, Angela (Chuck) Saunier and several nieces and nephews.
May the memory of Gary Garcia- a man of loyalty, kindness, humor and pride bring peace to all who had the honor of knowing him.
Services will be held Friday August 8th at Holy Cross Catholic Church 9371 Wigham St, Thornton CO 80229. Rosary at 10:30 am, Mass at 11:00 am and reception immediately following at the church hall.
