Gino Lujan Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gino Lee Lujan, a beloved son, brother, uncle, father figure, and friend, who left us on July 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Gino was known for his bubbly personality, his outgoing spirit, and a heart that embraced everyone he met.
His love for music shone brightly in all aspects of his life, particularly in his passion for playing the drums for the Lord. Gino made every gathering feel like a celebration, always encouraging those around him to find joy in life's little moments. He cherished his family deeply and would spend hours sharing laughter and stories, reminding us of all the importance of togetherness.
Gino is now reunited with his father, and we can only imagine the joyous jam session they are having in heaven, playing all the tunes they loved to hear. He wouldn't want us to dwell in sadness; instead, he would urge us to celebrate the wonderful life he lived. As he'd often say, "party hardy" – a reminder to embrace joy even in our grief.
Though he has left this earthly home, Gino's spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. We invite you to join us in honoring his legacy by sharing your favorite memories, playing some music, and celebrating the vibrant life he led.
He is survived by his loving mother, Erlinda Lujan; his sister, Dorothy Lujan; and his two devoted brothers, Donnie and Jack (Cathy) Lujan. Gino was proud of his cherished nephews-Paul, Andrew, James Chavez, Zack (Melissa) Lujan, Dominick Lujan and nieces-Bernadette (Ramon) Marquez and Dawn Marie Lujan. His heart expanded even further to embrace 14 great nieces and nephews, three stepchildren-Rita, Tomas, and Trina-and 11 grandchildren, all of whom he adored.
Rest in peace, dear Gino; you will be missed dearly but never forgotten.
The Celebration of Gino's life will be announced at a later time.
