Jerry was born June 26, 1949, to the late Paten Lewis, Jr. and Erma Clack Lewis in Galveston, Texas.
He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force as Sergeant. He obtained an Associate Degree in Business Management and retired from the US Postal Service as Manager of Transportation. He was a provider, grandfather, father, husband, strong minded, caring, fearless and a pioneer. He loved to clean cars, bull riding, dogs, and sports. He was very big on having a strong family bond.
He is survived by wife, Doris Ann Lewis; children, Isaac Lewis (Rosa Lewis), Ahmad Lewis (Victoria Lewis) and Jamaal Lewis; brother, Charles Lewis; sister, Oma Lewis; grandchildren, Aiyana Lewis, Nyla Lewis, Jasiah Lewis, Deidra Stewart, and Shaedon Brinkley.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be observed at 10:00am on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Horan & McConaty, 11150 East Dartmouth Ave, Aurora CO 80014.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 16, 2022, from the Chapel of Horan & McConaty, 11150 East Dartmouth Ave, Aurora CO 80014. Reception will follow.
