Jesse Castro was born on January 27th 2003 in Denver, Colorado to Cecil G and Brenda. She was raised by her loving grandmother Genevieve Barron and grandfather Emilio Barron on the Northside of Denver. She passed away at the age of 22 on September 23rd 2025. Jesse was kind, selfless, and adventurous. Her laugh was music to her loved one's ears and her hugs were warm. Her smile was as beautiful as the sunset. She was as comfortable in the water as she was on land. Some would say she was a fish. If you ever needed a picture taken she was the one to call. She could find the perfect angle, lighting, and background. She was in tune with nature and would use her camera to capture nature's most magical moments. When it came to music she could go from gangster to country seamlessly. She was a sensitive gangster. She was strong enough to be there for you when you needed her and soft enough to receive love in return.
Jesse is preceded in death by her Father, Mother, and Grandmother. She will be missed by her brother Joseph and sisters Genevieve, Sapphire, Deanna, Chastity, Melody, Mariah, and Alyssa. She will be fondly remembered by her many cousins, nephews, and nieces. Jesse will never be forgotten by her multitude of friends whom she considered family.
With the combined love of her family and friends we will gather to celebrate her life on October 12th at 2pm at Latina Funerals and Cremations located at 3020 Federal Blvd Denver, CO 80211. Viewing will be from 2pm to 330pm and a service to follow from 330pm to 530pm. Jesse loved coming together and celebrating so we will have a reception after the service in honor of her.
