Jessie Cerda Obituary

Jessie S. Cerda 77, of Greeley, Colorado passed away at her home on May 27, 2025, after a long battle of kidney disease. She was surrounded by her loved ones.
Jessie was born on May 6, 1948, in Denver, Colorado. Jessie was the daughter to Alfredo Sr. and Felis (Martinez) Rios, she attended West High School in Denver, Colorado then later received her GED.
Jessie was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as "OG" to her grandchildren. She is known for spending family time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved sewing and gambling. For many years Jessie worked at Weld County Transportation, it suited her servant heart. She always had a heart of gold.
Jessie is a loving and devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband Olaf Cerda Sr.; one son Olaf (Jay) Cerda Jr.; three daughters; Oralia "Bobbie" Cerda, Gina (Ray) Lopez, Tina (Scott) Aragon, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother Alfredo Jr. (Agnes) Rios; four sisters; Lollie Rios, Gloria Rios, Anita Rios and Connie (Jamie) Melendez.
Jessie is proceeded in death by her father, mother, one brother, two sisters, a son-in-law and a great grandson.
Please join us to celebrate Jessie life on Thursday morning June 12, 2025, starting at 10:30 am with the Rosary followed by the mass at 11:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Ave, Greeley, Co 80634.
