John Elledge Obituary

John "Jack" P. Elledge, 71, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, in Littleton, Colorado, surrounded by the love of his family.

John was born on March 6, 1954, in Butte, Montana. He graduated from Powell County High School in Deer Lodge, Montana, in 1974, where he met the love of his life, Diana. The two shared a devoted marriage of 49 years, building a life centered around family, laughter, and love.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Elledge and Ann Nora Moore; his brother, Donald, his sisters, Rose Ann Elledge and Ruth Gone; and his nieces, Shannon McLean and Anjonette Gone. He is survived by his brother, James Elledge.

John was a deeply devoted family man. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Diana; his daughters, Heather Engel (Travis) and Audra Herrera (Joliday); and his four adoring grandchildren, Isabella, Dominic, Julian, and Milo. He was also blessed with a great-grandson, Amilieo, who brought him great joy.

John embraced family in all forms and opened his heart to many. His love and generosity extended to his nieces and nephews, Shannon McLean, Raymond Gone, and Anjonette Gone, as well as Anthony and Erica Konkol and their children, Michael, Charles, Archer, and Cedar, whom he cherished as grandchildren.

John was a devoted fan of the Denver Broncos, known for his quirky shirts with humorous sayings and his enduring love of English bulldogs-especially his beloved Winni.

Those who knew John will remember his laughter, his warm sense of humor, and the love he shared so freely with those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
