John Franzen Obituary

John Clifford Franzen, age 70, in Aurora Colorado. Peacefully passed away on June 17, 2025. He was born on March 27, 1955, in Minneapolis Minnesota. John graduated from Hinkley High School in Aurora Colorado in 1973. After graduating high school, he became an HVAC technician, and then supervisor for EastSide Heating and Air Conditioning, retiring after 30 years. He was a simple hardworking man, who loved his family and was determined to take care of them. His hobbies were spending time with his kids, grandchildren, the great outdoors, mountains, hiking, fishing, camping, boating, grilling, animals and working in his garage on anything that needed to be fixed. To know our father John, is to love him.

He was survived by his son Johnny C. Franzen Jr. and Jodi M. Franzen, 3 grandchildren Jason W. Franzen, Dylan C. Reinhardt, and Melanie B. Romero and 2 great grandbabies. His two sisters Sue and Laurie. John was preceded in death by his father Carl, mother Shirley.

John was cremated by 5280 Cremations in Aurora Colorado. A private celebration of life will be held for John at a later date by his children, grandchildren, and loved ones in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains where his memories will be shared.
