John Sanders Obituary

Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, born December 21, 1932. After a long battle with cancer, John passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025.

John celebrated 72 years of marriage to his wife, Gloria. He leaves behind his daughter, Jody, and granddaughters, Hannah and Dulcie. They will always remember him for his love, humor and many talents.

With a brilliant mind, John obtained both a BA in Electrical Engineering from Denver University and an MBA in business administration. He also obtained a Computer Science degree from MIT. In addition, John authored several tech books. He was a notable systems researcher and was instrumental in developing software for the programs that provide air traffic safety protocols in airports around the world.

John was also an accomplished cook. He developed a habanero hot sauce that was a fan favorite with the Colorado Rockies and the visiting teams who played at Coors Field, where he worked for 10 years after retirement.

John was always a rich source of humor in the form of Dad jokes and puns. His humor was always quiet, but entertaining.

We will keep him in our hearts forever.
