It is with tremendous sorrow we announce the unexpected passing of John Edward Ziegler III, 44, of Denver, CO on October 16, 2025. Born August 16, 1981 in Colorado Springs, CO. Johnny was a devoted father to his only daughter and a beloved son, brother and uncle Bubby. He left an imprint on this earth with his humor and joy of the mountains where you could often find him camping and fishing. His life revolved around his role as a girl dad and shared his love of Casa Bonita and Elitches . He is survived by his parents, John Edward Ziegler Jr and Cynthia Ziegler of Colorado Springs, Grandmother, Ann Ziegler of Harrisville, NY, sisters Tiffany Swayne (Don Swayne) of Monument, CO and Brittany Ziegler (Oscar Cueva) of San Marcos, Texas. Niece, Tayah Holcomb of Colorado Springs, Nephew Trevin Holcomb of Colorado Springs, Niece Magnolia Cueva of San Marcos, TX, nephew baby boy Cueva of San Marcos, TX, and his daughter Zoe Ziegler of Denver, CO. He is preceded in death by his grandfather John E. Ziegler Sr of Rochester NY and Grandparents, William and Mary Greene of Albuquerque, NM. A private service was held in Woodland Park.
