Jose 'Chepe' Meza, de 23 años, de Loveland, Colorado, fue recibido en el Cielo el 1 de febrero de 2026. Nació el 27 de diciembre de 2002 en Greeley, Colorado, hijo de Michelle Muniz e Hipolito Meza-Franco.

Chepe era un hombre increíble cuyo amor por su familia siempre iba primero. Conocido por su increíble sonrisa que podía dejar a cualquiera sin palabras y su asombrosa habilidad para hacer amigos con desconocidos.

Chepe tenía muchas pasiones en su vida. Su primera y principal pasión era molestar a su hermana, Rosy Cruz, como nadie más. Él pinchaba y tocaba, y aun así solo podías quererlo más, ya que siempre tenía su sonrisa característica. A Chepe también le encantaban los caballos y estaba muy orgulloso de su tiempo llevando su característico blanco y verde como jinete el día de la carrera.

Chepe será echado de menos por todos los que tuvieron la suerte de conocerle.

Chepe deja en vida a sus padres, Michelle Muniz y Hipólito Meza-Franco; hermanos, Rosy y Timo Cruz; y una gran familia extensa y cariñosa.

Le preceden en la muerte sus hermanos, X-avier Cruz y Pedro Meza Jr.; su abuela, Lucy Cruz; y su abuelo, Rutilio Meza Cortez.

Se celebrará una Velatoria y Servicio en Lighthouse Family Mortuary, 3600 W. 22nd Street, Greeley, CO, el jueves 12 de febrero de 2026 de 18:00 a 20:00.

Se celebrará una Celebración de la Vida en la Morgue Familiar Lighthouse el viernes 13 de febrero de 2026 a las 12:30 pm. Tras la celebración, se realizará un servicio en la tumba en el cementerio Linn Grove, 1700 Cedar Ave, Greeley, CO.

Para el viernes 13, a la familia le encantaría que todos se vistieran de estilo occidental con una camisa o camiseta azul real

Jose 'Chepe' Meza, 23, of Loveland, Colorado, was welcomed into Heaven on February 1, 2026. He was born on December 27, 2002, in Greeley, Colorado, to Michelle Muniz & Hipolito Meza-Franco.

Chepe was an incredible man who's love for his family always came first. Known for his amazing smile that could stop anyone in their tracks, and his uncanny ability to make friends out of strangers.

Chepe had many passions in his life. His first and foremost passion was teasing his sister, Rosy Cruz, like no one else. He would poke and prod, and yet you could only love him more as he always had his signature smile. Chepe also loved horses and was very proud of his time wearing his signature white & green as a Jockey on race day.

Chepe will be missed by all that were lucky enough to have met him.

Chepe is survived by his parents, Michelle Muniz & Hipolito Meza-Franco; siblings, Rosy & Timo Cruz; and a large loving extended family.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, X-avier Cruz, Pedro Meza Jr.; grandmother, Lucy Cruz; and grandfather, Rutilio Meza Cortez.

A Visitation & Service will be held at Lighthouse Family Mortuary, 3600 W. 22nd Street, Greeley, CO on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lighthouse Family Mortuary on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 12:30pm. A Graveside service at Linn Grove Cemetery, 1700 Cedar Ave, Greeley, CO will follow the Celebration.

For Friday the 13th, family would love for everyone to dress western with a royal blue shirt or top
