I grew up in Evans with the Ochoas as my neighbors, and friends.
Mr. Ochoa took me under wing when I was about 9 and we spent many weekends together. When he plowed his large garden area, he would use me as weight to stand on the plow. I would help him plant and pull weeds from the garden during the summer.
On most Sarurdays, he and I would go to LaSalle in his truck to wash it. While we did that he would teach me Spanish words. (Later in life, those words would save my life)
Mr. Ochoa, I always enjoyed bumping in to you as an adult. You taught me many things. You will be missed.
