Kevin Paul Cox, age 63, passed away Monday, January 26, after a brief hospital following a
serious accident. Kevin was born in Denver on August, 20, 1963.His family moved to
Casper, Wyoming in 1967 and returned to Colorado, settling in Niwot, in 1972.
Kevin was an avid golfer, playing as often as the weather and his schedule would allow.
Aside from golf, Kevin was passionate about find dining and fine wine, spending most of his
adult life as a server/bartender at many fine dining restaurants and country clubs
throughout Colorado.
Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Cox, mother Shirley Cox nee LaVoie and
brother Jeffrey and Charles Cox. He is survived by his wife, Jonna Zimmer nee Moore,
stepdaughter Linda Longstaff nee Zimmer, sister Judy Crater nee Cox, brother-in-law
Michael Crater, nieces Jenni and Kimberly, nephew Matthew and four great nephews and
one great niece.
A celebration of life will be later in 2026, details to follow.
As we all know, Kevin was an animal lover extraordinaire. In lieu of flowers, please make
