Konstantinos Mavridis Obituary

Konstantinos 'Gus' Mavridis, 67, of Greeley, Colorado, went to the heavenly City of the Angels on June 23, 2025 from Greeley. He was born on February 18, 1958 to Nikolaos Mavridis & Thomais (Kappou) Mavridou in Peiraias, Greece. On January 2, 1977, in Athens, Greece, Gus married the true love of his life, Theano (Bastianos) Mavridou.
Gus was a cabinet maker in Greece and he served proudly in the Hellenic Navy in Greece. He immigrated with his family to the United States in 1994 where he and his family made their home in Greeley, Colorado. He was a self-motivated and determined businessman, running several businesses in Greece and the Greeley area.
Gus had a passion for scuba diving and love the ocean, especially around Greece, where he traveled to regularly. The love for his family was unconditional. His loving wife was always by his side, married for 49 years. His grandchildren are his world.
His legacy and strength will continue to live on in his children and his beloved wife.
Gus is survived by his loving wife, Theano Mavridou; children, Rea Mavridou, Tammy Mavridou, and Nick Mavridis; 8 grandchildren, Alex, Michael, and Kayley Furman, Christian, and Konstantinos Newell, Konstantinos, Alastair, and Niko Mavridis; his brother-in-law, Jimmy Bastianos; and dear friend, George Gatsiopoulos; and a large loving extended family.
He is proceeded in death by his parents; and 3 brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2515 W. 16th St. Greeley.
