Janie was a true inspiration for all who desire to serve God with unfaiing energy and enthusiasm. She seemed to have a never-ending fount of ideas and her warm communications were a joy to read. Her annual Christmas letter was a harbinger of the season.

We accompany you, the Lichtfuss family, in these days of thanksgiving to God for your dear one's gifted life, and we treasure the memories of Janie's music in our Grace Lutheran Church, as well as multiple areas of service and leadership. The relationship with Janie and your family over the decades continues as a blessing. . .in Christ's love and peace!

Janie always had a warm smile and a very welcoming manner. It was easy to feel comfortable with her soon after having just met her. She will be missed by many. Condolences to her whole family.
