Linda Martinez, age 77, passed away peacefully on 11 November 2025 surrounded by her loving family. A proud Wyoming native, she carried the spirit of the West in her heart - strong, independent, and full of warmth.
Born on 19 March 1948 in Cheyenne, Wyoming and raised in Casper, Linda grew up with a love for the open skies, close community, and simple joys that defined her home state. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness touched everyone who knew her.
Her Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. Whether through prayer, service, or quiet acts of compassion, she lived her beliefs every day. She faced life's joys and challenges with grace, gratitude, and trust in God's plan.
Linda was also known for her fun-loving spirit. She was a loyal Denver Broncos fan who cheered passionately through every season - win or lose. She enjoyed a good laugh, good company, and a little beer now and then, always reminding those around her to savor life's blessings and not take things too seriously.
She is survived by her husband, Juan, her children, Greg (Berit Royer) and Nicole (Tom Humble), her grandkids, Josh, Mackenzie, Hannah, Grace and Eva, and sister Carole who will miss her love, humor, and steady presence.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church on 25 November 2025 at 11:00am. A Rosary/vigil service will take place on 25 November before the funeral Mass at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Theresa Catholic Church or simply that you raise a glass and cheer for the Broncos in her memory.
May she rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon her.
