On March 29, 2026, the world lost a vibrant soul with the passing of Lorenzo "Larry" Hernandez, who left us at the age of 55 at his home in Denver, Colorado. Born on March 24, 1971, in Lorado, Texas, Larry was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, cherished deeply by all who knew him.

Larry graduated from Fort Collins High School and pursued his passion for healthcare by attending nursing school. He later excelled as an X-Ray technician after his graduation from Heritage College in 2014. Larry dedicated his career to helping others, with his time spent at Poudre Valley Hospital being a testament to his caring nature.

Larry's personality was as warm as his smile. He had an undeniable gift for making others laugh with his great jokes and outgoing spirit. Larry was the life of the party- a title he wore with pride. He created moments of joy for his family and friends, ensuring that everyone felt the warmth of his presence.

An avid Denver Broncos fan, Larry loved gathering with friends to cheer on his team. His passions extended beyond football; he enjoyed cooking, shopping, dancing, and going to the movies. Larry also had a unique obsession with his fish and frogs, often sharing stories of his aquatic companions.

He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Salinas; his siblings, Israel Govea, Jr., Santos Salinas, Jr., Simon Salinas, Christina (Carlos) Roel, and Rebecca (Kory), Sandra Nunez, Aurora S. Salinas; his daughter, Kiaya; and his son, Seth; one granddaughter and grandson; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Each family member holds fond memories of Larry, who filled their lives with laughter and love.

A visitation will be held at Adamson Life Celebration Home on [insert date here] from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Rosary service will follow at 4:00 p.m., with cremation taking place thereafter. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date, where they will gather to honor the joyous spirit of Larry and the cherished memories shared with him. In the spirit of Larry, let us remember him as a beacon of joy, whose laughter and kindness touched many lives. He will forever remain in our hearts.
