Louis Jr. Crispin, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 26, 2025, at 5:59 p.m. He was born on May 13, 1972, in Monte Vista, Colorado, to Alice and Louis Crispin, who now welcome him home in heaven.
Louis was one of six children and will be remembered fondly by his siblings: Rebecca Segundo, Andrew Segundo, Anthony Segundo, and Dorina Garcia. He is preceded in death by his brother, Freddy Segundo. Though the youngest son, Louis brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. He had a gift for humor, always wanting to make people smile, and he carried himself with pride, often making sure he looked his very best.
Louis was blessed with two sons, Isaiah Slaughter and Stepheno Garcia, who were his greatest joy, as well as four beautiful grandchildren: Zayanna Slaughter, Alexander Slaughter, Elijah Vigil and Isaiah Vigil. His love for them was boundless, and his family will carry forward his warmth, laughter and devotion.
Louis had a deep love for his mother, Alice, he was truly a “momma’s boy”, and cherished his nieces and nephews dearly. He had a heart that held his family close, and he was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved most.
As he takes his place in heaven, reunited with his parents and brother, Louis leaves behind not only memories of laughter and love but also a reminder of life’s preciousness. A symbol close to him was the angel number 559, a sign of change, faith and divine guidance, which his family now embraces as a lasting connection to his spirit.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
Louis Jr. Crispin will forever be remembered for his humor, his devotion to family and the love he poured into those around him. His legacy lives on in his children, grandchildren, siblings and all who were blessed to know him.
He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
