Nevil Pravasi, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, passed away on December 6th, 2025. He was born in Ahmedabad, India, to loving and kind parents Cyril and Grace Pravasi, and grew up alongside his brother, Herold Pravasi.
In 1998, Nevil immigrated to the United States, where he married his wife, Shefali, and together they began building a new life filled with hope, faith and hard work. Nevil began his career at the company now known as Empower. Through his dedication, brilliance, and innovative spirit, he rose to become the organization’s first-ever Distinguished Architect, an extraordinary achievement that reflected both his talent and his unwavering commitment to excellence.
Above all, Nevil was a devoted family man. His greatest joy and deepest passion were his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Shefali, and their two daughters, Alisha (born 2003) and Amberly (born 2008), who were the pride of his life. Nevil’s faith in Jesus Christ guided his heart, shaped his character, and was evident in the gentle, compassionate way he treated everyone he met.
Nevil was known for his kindness, generosity, and humble spirit. He made friends effortlessly and touched countless lives through his warmth, sincerity, and willingness to help others. He was admired not only for what he accomplished, but for who he was.
Nevil’s legacy—rooted in love, faith, and excellence—will live on in the many hearts he impacted. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing him. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
