Patricia “Pat” Cammarata
July 26, 1944 – November 28, 2025
Patricia “Pat” Cammarata, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was 81 years old.
Born on July 26, 1944, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Pat grew up with a strong work ethic and a warm, welcoming spirit. She began her career working at a bank, where a fateful meeting with Salvatore “Sal” Cammarata changed the course of her life. The two fell in love, married, and soon embarked on their life together. When Sal’s service in the U.S. Air Force brought them to Denver, Colorado, they embraced the move wholeheartedly and built a loving home rooted in family, service, and community.
After leaving the bank, Pat devoted herself fully to raising her family, proudly taking on the role of “chief house officer.” She was the heart of the home she and Sal created, providing unwavering support, encouragement, and love to those around her.
An avid bowler for many years, Pat enjoyed the camaraderie and competition of the sport. She also found deep fulfillment in giving back to her community. For 28 years, she volunteered at a local hospital, delivering comfort—and coffee—through her cheerful coffee cart service. Her kindness became a bright spot for patients and staff alike.
Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Sal; her daughters, Nicole Cammarata (Dan Shepherd) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Lisa Cammarata (Katie Fortier) of Aurora, CO; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will miss her warmth, humor, and steadfast love.
A celebration of life will be held at Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO, on December 13 at 11:00am. A reception will be held immediately after at Horan’s reception center.
Pat’s legacy of compassion, family, and generosity lives on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
