Peter Stier, Sr. Obituary
Peter Stier Sr., 79, of Colorado, passed away on December 4, 2025. Born in Košice, Slovakia, Peter escaped Communist Czechoslovakia in 1969 and immigrated to the United States, first settling in New Jersey before making Colorado his home in 1973.
Peter was a retired diesel mechanic and a follower of Jesus Christ. He loved hiking in the Colorado mountains, hockey, soccer, and helping others.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Jarmila; his sons, Peter Jr. and Steve of the United States and a son in the Czech Republic; his stepson in Slovakia; his stepdaughter in Canada; his older brother, Alexander; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the Czech Republic.
He will be missed.
