Rick Musick Obituary

Ricky L. Musick, 64, of Greeley, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 17, 2026, in Greeley. He was born on November 11, 1961, in Elkhart to Robert and Peggy Musick.

In his late teens, Rick moved with his family to Colorado. From a young age, Rick was known for his strong work ethic. He discovered a natural talent for landscaping and tree care, eventually operating his own successful tree trimming business. He took pride in providing for his family and making sure that they had everything they needed.

Rick met the love of his life, Lisa, and together they built a beautiful life and raised three wonderful children. His family was his greatest accomplishment and the center of his world.

Though Rick worked hard, he also knew how to enjoy life. He loved riding his Harley, feeling the freedom of the open road, and spending meaningful time with family and friends. A man of strong faith, Rick trusted deeply in God and lived his life guided by that faith. He will be remembered for his strength, ornery and witty personality.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa; his children, Matt (Katherine) Musick, Mike Musick, and Sam (Derrick) Peterson; his cherished grandchildren, Brody, Addyson, Thaddues, and Emmersyn; his siblings, Mike (Sunni) Musick, Gary (Annette) Musick, Rod (Jeanette) Musick, Diane Wells, and Donna Arnett; along with a large extended family and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Peggy Musick, and his brother, Jim Musick.
