Ronald Vegas Obituary

Ronald (Ron) Vegas was born in Denver, Colorado on August 24, 1957 to Louise Mondragon (Montoya-Vegas) and Herman Vegas. Ron passed on June 12, 2025 in Denver, Colorado and is survived by his children April Vegas, Ryan Vegas (Brandy), siblings Linda Abeyta, Michelle Scott (Kent) and Martin Mondragon (Peggy).
He is preceded in death by his Mother Louise, Father Herman, Step Father George Mondragon, sister Lorraine Romero, Brothers James Vegas, Thomas Vegas, Michael Vegas and Terry Vegas.
Ron grew up in Denver until he moved to Northglenn, Colorado in 1972 with his mom, step-dad and 4 siblings. Ron attended Northglenn High School and loved to play sports, especially baseball. Ron had many blessings in life but also hand many struggles. He was a gifted artist who would often immerse himself in his art to escape and create beauty that others admired.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life with his children at Ralston Church located at 7400 Indiana Street, Arvada 80007 at 10:30am, on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Reception to follow immediately where food and refreshments will be served.
