It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Samantha Jo Bates on March 25, 2026.

Samantha was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and aunt whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and love to everyone who knew her. She was funny, vibrant, and truly the life of the party, someone who could light up any room with her smile and energy. Samantha was young and beautiful, inside and out, with a spirit that made people feel seen, valued, and loved.

She is lovingly remembered by her parents, Mary Bates and Arlee Bates; her sisters, Shawna Bates, Shannon Bates and Sarah Alexander; her brothers, Arlee Bates, Derrick Bates and Rudy Alexander: and her cherished sons, Cyrus Bates, Chrystian Bates, and Armani Bates, who were the center of her world and her greatest joy. Samantha also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who adored her, along with a large extended family who loved her deeply.

Samantha's love for her family was unwavering. She was strong, compassionate, and deeply caring-always putting others before herself. Her laughter and vibrant personality created countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Though her time with us was far too short, the love she gave and the joy she brought will live on in the lives she touched. Her memory will continue to guide and comfort all who knew and loved her.
