Sean Hogue Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sean Michael Hogue. At the age of 62, he still had a lot more living to do. Unfortunately, he lost his battle with complications from multiple myeloma the morning of January 6, 2026.

A native son of Denver, CO, he graduated from Western State with a business degree. He began his career at the Young Americans Bank. Switching gears to Cable Television he moved to Chico, California, becoming Insights youngest Vice President in the company’s history. Several years and a couple of states later he landed back in Colorado as the regional manager for Bresnan Communications. While promoting an event for them he met his wife. They met on November 3, 2005 and he asked her to marry him on November 8, she said “yes”.

Sean enjoyed tinkering in the garage, target shooting, lifting weights, throwing darts, and playing golf. He had a great sense of humor and a knack for playing pranks. He will be truly missed with maybe the exception of those that were pranked.

He is survived by his wife, Doneva, his mother, Dellene, his younger brother, Kevin and Kevin’s wife, Stacey, son Ryan, daughter, Shaylen, and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Hogue.

In keeping with his wishes a funeral will not be planned. Instead, a share your remembrance will be at a future date not yet determined.
