Sharon Kading Obituary

Sharon Kay Kading, aged 84, passed away peacefully in Englewood on July 23, 2025, surrounded by the love of her husband. Born on July 4, 1941, in Yuma, Colorado, Sharon lived a life marked by love, devotion, and a relentless spirit.

After earning her bachelor's degree, Sharon dedicated 15 years of her professional life as a registered nurse, exemplifying her caring and nurturing personality. Later in life, she changed careers and went to work for the United States Post Office from which she retired. She was a vibrant and outgoing individual who genuinely enjoyed connecting with others. Her passion for life extended beyond her career; she was a devoted mother who created countless cherished memories with her children, especially through her remarkable Halloween costumes and her involvement as a Cub Scout leader for her son, James.

Sharon's proudest accomplishment was her enduring marriage to Wayne, with whom she shared over 64 wonderful years. While raising her children, she returned to school to pursue nursing, always striving to better herself and support those around her.

Throughout her life, Sharon pursued various hobbies and interests. She had a crafty side, enjoying arts and crafts festivals and the renaissance festival. Avid readers will remember her fondness for romance and mystery novels. She and Wayne shared a love for travel, often creating joyful memories on cruises, experiencing the beauty of new places together.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband Wayne; her sons Randall and James (Robin); her daughter Barbara (Kevin) Hofmann; and her cherished grandchildren Tyler, Christopher, Jeffery, Timothy, Carly, and Joseph Kading, and Nicole Hofmann, along with four great-grandchildren and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lola Ford.

A visitation will be held on July 31, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro, located at 901 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, Colorado 80226. Her memory will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
