Steven Solano Obituary

Steven Daniel Solano entered the loving presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 9, 2025. Born on January 23, 1973, in Fort Collins, Colorado, he was the beloved son of Steven Joseph and Mary Carol Ann Solano.
Steve was welcomed home by his father, Steve Solano Sr., his daughter Mariah Young-Solano, and many other dear loved ones. He is survived by his mother, Carol Solano, his children; Erica Solano, Liliana Garza, Trey Marquiss, Steven, and Jacob Solano; his siblings; Sarah (Jose) Sanchez and Christopher (Lindsy) Solano, and many nieces and nephews.
Steve loved fishing and golfing, excelling at both. He was hardly ever skunked at the lake, and it was just as rare to out drive him on the course. Throughout his life, he worked in multiple skilled trades from welding, to roofing, to home renovations, and just about any task his mom needed done. Even if he didn't know how to do it, he'd figure it out and get it done. He always had a smart remark at the ready - usually funny, occasionally brutal, and almost always spot-on. He will be remembered for his competitive nature, his smile and his loyalty to his family and those he loved.
Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Windsor, CO, Wednesday, June 25th. Rosary begins at 10:30 with a Catholic Mass immediately after. Reception will also be held at Our Lady of the Valley following mass.
