I was so in love with his music. I have to say Don't Be Angry was my favorite of all because it was so parallel with my husband and my lifetime from the time that he purposed to me and it still holds so much of our life. We will be married 65 years this year on September 12 and I love my husband with all my heart but Mr. Stonewall Jackson music still brings tears to my eyes.

My heartfelt condolences are offered to the family, many, many friends, colleagues and devoted army fans of Mr. Stonewall Jackson of the Grand Ole Opry. Mr. Stonewall Jackson was a country music singer. He was greatly admired by many fellow artists and all those who knew him. May the love and many, many special memories you shared with your devoted loved one show how much your life was touched by him. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of Mr. Stonewall Jackson. May his music and legacy keep his memory alive forever.

Our sincere sympathy to all family and friends. When I was in the Army in 1967 Stonewall did a show in Colorado Springs and during the break, he came and sat at the table with us, Saw him again 40 years later in Wahoo, Nebraska. A wonderful person and entertainer we will never forget. Have "Help Stamp out Loneliness" as my ringtone on phone. RIP

A strong, powerful voice in the world of classic Country and Western music has been stilled, but the recorded legacy of Stonewall Jackson will keep his talent and memory alive for future generations to enjoy.

#CountryMusic has lost a legend. This morning, I listened to his Stonewall Jackson", with the fantastic #Waterloo, and also to another gem, his 1969 album "The Old Country Church". So so beautiful! What a loss. Rest in peace,

Stonewall was my brother-in-law for a number of years.. deep down, he had a gentle heart, always treated my kids well, and was a great husband and father.. later on a grandfather. I’m sure the many lives he touched all have special memories. Rest In Peace!
