Suzanna Ruth Simon, born December 1975, went to her eternal home New Year’s Eve, 2025. Lifelong resident of the Denver metro area. Graduated from Lincoln High School. Graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a degree in music, education and voice. She completed her Orff Levels for certification to enhance musicianship and teaching strategies through the Orff Schulwerk approach.
Ruth, preferred name, was a music, musical theater, and ASL teacher in the JeffCo and Adams12 school districts of Colorado. She was actively involved in various Denver area churches, ladies ministries, Operation Christmas Child efforts, and counseling opportunities. She poured her life into thousands of music students, many annual musical theater productions, and several ASL choir performances. Ruth was a lifelong learner. She was always reading, watching, or using an app to learn more about something. Her Bible is full of notes and things to remember from passages that changed her life or sermons that touched her in special ways. Ruth loved to travel and experience new things. Each summer, she traveled with Wayne and her boys to some new location: Grand Canyon, Washington DC, Orlando, Gatlinburg/Smokey Mountain National Park, Yellowstone, etc.
Ruth is survived by her mother Jill, husband Wayne, sons Paul Joshua and Isaiah, and sisters Becky and Debbie.
