Thuong Nguyen Obituary

Thuong Minh Nguyen, born January 15, 1935, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, at the age of 90. His long life was marked by resilience, devotion, and a deep love for his family.

Thuong was a man of quiet strength and steady presence, someone whose wisdom and kindness shaped the lives of all who knew him. His journey was one of sacrifice and perseverance, and he carried those he loved through every challenge with unwavering dedication. 

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vu Thi Toan, and by his daughter, Bic, both of whom he held close in his heart throughout his life.

Thuong is survived by his children Chi, Lien, Loan, Hung, Yune, and Phillip, who continue to carry forward his values, his spirit, and the lessons he instilled in them.

He was a proud grandfather to Vicky, Amy, Hannah, Ethan, Michael, Lilly, Quan, Sannah, Phong, Hai, James, Kevin, Henry, Dominic, Patrick, Faustina, Harley, and Cisco, and a joyful great-grandfather to Edison, Emerson, Lana, and Penn. His greatest joy was seeing his family grow across generations, each new life a reminder of the legacy he built.

Thuong’s memory will be cherished for his gentle humor, his quiet guidance, and the steadfast love he offered without condition. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the family he nurtured with such care.
