It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Troy Leonard Billingham, 56, on February 17, 2026 at his residence in Colorado.
Born in Long Beach California, Troy and his family relocated to the Denver Metro in August of 1975. Growing up in Jefferson County with his adventurous parents, Leonard and Madeleine, and loving sister, Sophie, he fully embodied a true Coloradoan.
Troy was an exceptional father, exemplary leader, and gnarly skier. His dedication and consistency were nothing short of extraordinary, and an inspiration to those who surrounded him. With mindful exuberance, Troy enjoyed the simple things in life. Whether it be a lake side snack, commuting statewide from baseball to soccer tournaments, putting miles on his bike, or a Sunday barbecue after yard work; Troy truly cherished the moments spent with family. His selflessness and character never faltered. With tremendous strength, he was deeply committed to assisting in cancer research through participation in Sarah Cannon Cancer Center clinical trials. In honor of Troy’s commendable and meaningful contribution please feel free to donate to the Sarah Cannon Fund at The Community Foundation: https://www.cfmt.org/funds/sarah-cannon-fund/
His legacy is carried forward through his four kids, Josh, Payton, Samantha, and Jakob. Dad, thank you for believing in us, for pushing us forward, and for being our greatest friend. Your strength and values are an inspiration, and the foundation on which each of us are built. We are eternally grateful.
