Valkyrie Eden Erickson, affectionately known as “Sweet Pea,” “Tiny,” “Blue,” “Princess,” and “Val,” passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of two.

During her short but meaningful life, Valkyrie was known for her joyful spirit and bright smile. She enjoyed playing in water, looking at books with her father, and imaginative play — especially pretending to cook. She found comfort in her favorite blanket and her pasi, and she loved to cuddle with those she trusted.

Her name was chosen with intention: Valkyrie, inspired by the Norse warrior maidens, representing strength; and Eden, reflecting innocence and purity. She embodied both.

Valkyrie is survived by her father, David Erickson; her mother, Melissa; her sisters, Demetria and A’raya; her brothers, Jayden and Reese; her grandmother, Mikki; her grandfather David W., grandfather Trent, her great-grandmother, Loretta; and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.

Her life, though brief, will always be remembered with love.
